Kevin Calhoun is the GIS Coordinator/Technician for IRAPP. This is a role in which he has served for past 6 years. A graduate from Morehead State University, Kevin holds a B.A. degree in Geography and is working to complete his M.S. in Geographic Information Sciences at Pennsylvania State University. He has actively been working with county and city municipalities on various projects.

Some of these projects consist of land use mapping, comprehensive planning, community development, GIS for school bus routing, and digital updating parcel line maps for several Property Valuation Offices in Kentucky. His research interest includes: GIS, Planning, Community Development, Computer Mapping and Rural Development Issues. He is a member of American Association of Geographers (AAG), Southeast Division American Association of Geographers (SEGAAG), and American Planning Association (APA).
